Van kinds af aan was de fascinatie daar. Westerns in zwart en wit, platenhoezen en comics. Uitendelijk, toen hij oud genoeg was, trok hij zijn stoute schoenen aan, kocht een ticket en vulde zijn rugzak met een paar sokken, wat ondergoed en een reisgids .

Hij heeft meer dan 15 keer het land van zijn dromen bezocht, soms voor een maand soms langer, voordat hij, met de hulp van een Amerikaanse vriend, uiteindelijk besloot om te emigreren.

Meer dan 2 jaar heeft hij daar, samen met zijn kleine grote vriend Emiliano de chihuahua, gewoond en gewerkt.

Na het overlijden van zijn beste vriend, Emiliano, moest hij afstand nemen van alles wat hem lief was en vloog  terug naar Nederland. Nu woont hij in zijn atelier in Rotterdam waar twijfel zijn grootste vijand is.

Rotterdam his heart, Mexico his soul

From an early age, the fascination was there. Black-and-white westerns, record covers, and comic books. Eventually, when he was old enough, he took the plunge, bought a ticket, and filled his backpack with a few pairs of socks, some underwear, and a travel guide.

He has visited the land of his dreams more than fifteen times—sometimes for a month, sometimes longer—before ultimately deciding to emigrate, with the help of an American friend.

For over two years, he lived and worked there together with his small yet great friend, Emiliano the Chihuahua.

After the passing of his best friend, Emiliano, he was forced to let go of everything he held dear and flew back to the Netherlands. He now lives in his studio in Rotterdam, where doubt is his greatest enemy.

Rotterdam su corazón, México su alma

Desde la infancia, la fascinación estuvo ahí. Westerns en blanco y negro, portadas de discos y cómics. Finalmente, cuando fue lo suficientemente mayor, se atrevió a dar el paso, compró un billete y llenó su mochila con unos cuantos pares de calcetines, algo de ropa interior y una guía de viaje.

Ha visitado más de quince veces el país de sus sueños, a veces durante un mes, a veces más tiempo, antes de decidir finalmente emigrar con la ayuda de un amigo estadounidense.

Durante más de dos años vivió y trabajó allí, junto a su pequeño gran amigo Emiliano, el chihuahua.

Tras la muerte de su mejor amigo, Emiliano, tuvo que despedirse de todo lo que amaba y regresó en avión a los Países Bajos. Ahora vive en su estudio en Rotterdam, donde la duda es su mayor enemiga.
